Thermador + IDS Diversity in Design Pipeline Initiative

In partnership with the Interior Design Society, Thermador is proud to offer the Diversity in Design Pipeline Initiative. This program provides Interior Design students with a comprehensive scholarship package, a customized year-long mentorship program with prestigious interior design professionals, IDS membership, and access to exclusive trade events.

The Diversity in Design Pipeline Program will award (5) Interior Design students with a scholarship and mentorship package that includes a $10,000 scholarship and guidance from interior design professionals based on their unique areas of expertise. Program winners will be encouraged to attend bi-monthly virtual meetings throughout the program to ensure a fulfilling experience. 

The Thermador Diversity in Design Scholarship & Mentorship Package Includes:

1. $10,000 scholarship toward tuition
2. Tailored year-long mentorship program with highly acclaimed interior design professionals
3. Program-exclusive panel discussions, product training and events
4. Year-long Interior Design Society student membership followed by 2 additional years of Associate membership ($865 value)
5. Career resources and support
6. Access to exclusive trade events
7. Ongoing professional development opportunities through virtual networking events and meetings.

Interior design students with a unique design perspective and an interest in Residential Kitchen and Bath design should apply for this program. Students must be entering their senior year enrolled in an accredited, undergraduate design school or program with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Applicants should be able to articulate how they would bring a diverse and/or unique perspective into the design industry.

• Letter of recommendation
• Three portfolio images accompanied by brief descriptions
• Digital copy of your college or university transcript (unofficial is accepted)
